Transition Services
The Pinnacle School provides enhanced transition services for students ages 18–22 as part of our existing Approved Private Special Education Program (APSEP). These services are integrated into each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) and designed to support continued academic progress while building essential life and career skills.
OUR APPROACH & KEY BENEFITS
Our collaborative, student-centered approach combines real-world experiences, targeted skill development, and mental health supports to foster independence, self-advocacy, and confidence. Students engage in personalized transition planning and hands-on learning opportunities, including internships and community-based activities, while continuing to work toward academic requirements as appropriate. Families benefit from improved communication, supportive strategies, and guidance to ensure a successful transition to adulthood.
