Join us for an engaging and informative webinar about executive function skills as part of the Pinnacle Speaker Series. This session will explore the critical role of executive function (EF) in personal growth and development, offering insights into:

  • How EF skills impact daily life and learning 

  • Recognizing signs of EF challenges 

  • Connections to mental and physical health concerns 

  • Comorbid diagnoses with ADHD/ASD 

  • How neurodiverse individuals adapt and thrive 

 

This is the first event in a three-part workshop on executive function. Whether you’re a parent, educator, or simply curious, this session will provide practical knowledge to better understand and support EF development. 

Speaker

Cezanne Strate 

Cezanne Strate is a certified Special Education Teacher at Pinnacle with extensive experience supporting diverse learners. She specializes in developing programs for students with developmental delays and math challenges and is trained in Applied Behavioral Analysis as both a management technique and a teaching method. 

​

Cezanne earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Purchase College and her Master of Science in Teaching in Childhood Education and Special Education from Fordham University. Before joining Pinnacle, she worked at The Collaborative Center, where she collaborated with students and tutors to improve academic programming and outcomes. She also ensured instructional collaboration, data collection, and IEP goal tracking for transitional day students. 

​

Her previous roles include positions at the Rye City School District, St. Mary’s Catholic School, Pear Tree Point School, and Devereux CARES. Additionally, Cezanne has served as Co-Director of the Pinnacle Summer Program for the past two years. 

The Pinnacle School enables students in grades 2-12 with complex learning challenges and secondary co-occurring needs to thrive through small class sizes, individualized academic programming, active problem-solving, and relationship building.
